They also further studied the ship’s fateful history through Titanic: The Virtual Experience, which takes visitors on a virtual tour of the Las Vegas Exhibition. During the summer engagement series, students learned about Titanic from renowned historians, including Cameron, and participated in a virtual tour of the Titanic Vault, where artifacts reside while undergoing conservation. This summer, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition partnered with filmmaker James Cameron and the Los Angeles Unified School District to engage more than 750 students in a five-week program: The Unsinkable Titanic – The Ship of Dreams, Past, Present and Future. Additionally, the Exhibition has been enhanced since temporarily closing its doors this spring with the installation of new video screens throughout the venue, which depict real stories of the ship and its passengers and crew portrayed by costumed actors who bring the history of the world’s most famous ocean liner to life.
